The Black Belts For Christ Ministries Mommy & Me Preschool Martial Arts Program offers Pre-School aged children (3 - 4 year olds) the opportunity to experience traditional martial arts training in an age appropriate, Christ-centered, nurturing environment. Our Mommy & Me students learn fundamental martial skills designed to improve discipline, develop coordination/balance, increase mental focus, and learn socialization through team and class drills . Black Belt Instructors lead every class as parents interact with their child and others in a dynamic class format that is both fun and challenging!

My 5 year old daughter (pictured after her very first tournament) has been participating in Black Belts for Christ for a year and a half now. Not only has she learned a great deal of self-discipline through this but she has also learned how to defend herself. She received her 4th belt in December and has already competed in 4 tournaments, which have all been amazing! So I am very excited about these new Mommy and Me classes because this means my 3 year old will be starting karate in March, which he is VERY excited about! Some families are soccer families- ours is a karate family! I cannot say enough good things about Sensei Joe and his team! They are amazing, patient, caring and firm all at the same time.
If you are looking for a great activity that will provide lifelong value then I HIGHLY suggest considering the Mommy and Me program for your 3 and 4 year olds! (If you have older children I would suggest talking to Sensei Joe to see if you can get them in a class as well!)
